Here you will find singular essences of flowers alchemized here in Sedona, from this very valley. I only make a flower essence of a particular flower when I feel invited to dance with the flower's medicine. The dance I have with the flower from recognizing it's invite, to collecting it, to the creation is a delicate process in which the medicine of the flower is instructing me. Often times I will receive contact from the flower via dreams or meditation and will begin to get to know the flower and pay attention to the natural rhythms that are instructing me. I will collect it when I feel guided and pay attention to everything that is happening around this alchemy as I know the medicine is sharing itself. The flowers below were collected this Spring and I am very excited to share them with you. The pictures below were also taken by me in which I asked the flowers to reveal themselves, and reveal themselves, they did!
Filaree
Filaree is an elusive tiny star shaped flower that covers these valleys in the spring. It closes up into tiny buds when the sun hits it, thus early mornings and in cool breezes are when you are most likely going to see Filaree. When it came time to collect it, I prepared for a hike into a valley earlier than usual only to look down in my own backyard to see if growing at my feet. I saw one, then another, then another, and laughed at how it was at my feet all this time I and I was driving 30 minutes into the canyon to find it! My journey with filaree showed me that we have everything we require when it is time for us to have it. It instills trust in the larger picture and helps one to move beyond obsessive thinking and petty worry into an embrace of the larger picture and starlike vision that lives within. 1oz. $7.00
Globe Mallow
Globe mallow is growing right outside my office window and days went by where it waved in the breeze inviting me to dance with it. I finally collected it on a day which the wind felt right and the energy was aligned to create this essence. I have never worked with globe mallow before so this was new for me and I surrendered to the process with a receptive heart. The little orange cups of the globe mallow look like chalices of warmth and receptivity. Globe mallow encourages wamrth in expression and unification of heart and mind. It has a strong spine (stalk) and soft open petals, which to me is like having a straight and strong center whilst being soft and receptive in one's expression. A beautifully vulnerable remedy with a nectar and rich color that encourages warmth and stillness within.

Dune Primrose
Dune Primrose is one of my favorites and it is quite active in these deserts come early May. A soft, feminine flower, with petals shaped like hearts. I received the invitation from this flower weeks before I acted upon it, as the day I went out to collect it it snowed! This taught me patience, and Divine timing indeed. I saw all the flowers disappear only to return weeks later in double the numbers. This flower connects you with the Mother Soul of the world. It is a flower that is profound in contacting birth trauma as well as any trauma particularly involving motherhood and mothering. A gentle, penetrating remedy, it gets to the heart of the matter with gentleness and grace. It was very clear in it's instructions when I gathered it, and had a very powerful energy field, yet it's physicality was delicate, and soft. I do feel we all have the potential to anchor into this depth whilst expressing it with gentleness and grace.

Desert Willow
A sweet nectary embrace this flower contains. The Desert Willow flower waved to me from my back yard for many days before I got the hint to make her essence. When I approached her to stand with the plant, the wind blew slightly filling my nostrils with her sweet smell. Openeness, expansion, gentleness, and immersion of feminine essence she carries. She was kept under a full moon after basking in the sun last year in April.

Rosemary
I affectionately call this plant Rosemaria, a sweet sister, who attracts the bees, and has a strong, rooted presence. It is said where Rosemary blooms a strong woman rules. This plant danced with me for many days until I heard the strong assertion "make an essence out of me!" upon which I did! When I made this essence the flowers were blooming and the bees surrounded and picked each flower for me as they buzzed around me while I cultivated the essence. A grounding presence helping one to fully integrate into their body and their warmth. Feminine, but strong. Rooted, but soft. A dear friend whom I am still learning about. Also cultivated on a full moon.

Cliff Rose
Trust, gentleness, patience, humility, sweet surrender. The stems of this flower are thin and blow so sweetly in the breeze. While collecting the flowers I kept saying to myself "gentle, gentle, gentle" as the slightest move of the wind would send them flying (sometimes along w/ their petals) . I felt a sweet, feminine presence, and strongly kept hearing "TRUST".
Palmers Penstemon
Faery blessings, lightness, play, open hearted communication, presence. Palmers Penstemon looks like a big open mouth. They feel like faery wands blowing in the breeze. Intuitively, and during our dance, I felt sweetness, gentleness, faery, wind, opening, and gentle expression.
Strawberry Hedgehog Cactus Flower
Unarmed Heart, Fierce Love, Allowing, Strength. Strawberry Hedgehog Cactus, is SO gorgeous. What I heard while making this essence while asking to myself "what makes an essence the highest vibrational quality" I heard "An UnArmed Heart". I look at this spiky cactus (and there are spikes at the base of the flower also) and see the rising, buoyant heart, as the unarmed heart rising out of a very defined cactus. I felt strength, boundaries, clear perception, clarity of purpose, and a warrior of the heart.
